How to measure

Make sure the measuring tape is taut but not tight, so you have room to breathe.

  1. Bust - Wear the bra you will be wearing with the dress, and pull the tape across the fullest part of the bust.
  2. Waist - Bend to one side to find the crease, that's your natural waist. Pull tape across the narrowest part and keep tape slightly loose to allow for breathing room.
  3. Hip - Stand straight and pull tape across the widest part of the hips and rear.
  4. Hollow to Floor - Stand straight with bare feet together and measure from the center of the collarbone to the floor.
  5. Height (Bare Foot) - Stand straight with bare feet together and measure from the top of the head to the floor.

Beautiful dress

Dress is absolutely gorgeous and well-made. I got it in the colour Rust. I went for the tailoring option because my measurements are pretty weird, and it was exactly what I asked for. At first I thought it was a bit tight under the arms but I wore it to my sister's wedding and I was in the dress from 1pm to midnight and I was entirely comfortable the whole time and basically forgot I was wearing it. The only feedback I would give is around delivery timescales - I was aware it would take up to 12 working days days to make my dress. On working day 15 I emailed Carlyna and they told me it would be shipped that week. On working day 23 I emailed again. I will give them this - they responded promptly to all my messages! The dress was shipped on working day 26 and I received it the very next day. I would recommend purchasing expedited shipping which I did especially if you are ordering close to the event you need the dress for. The delay was fine for me in the end because the dress was perfect and I still had a couple weeks before the wedding, so I'm totally happy! For £121 total I think this was a great deal!
